The Abacos are a collection of beautiful Bahamian islands and off shore Cays feature stunning beaches and the third largest reef system in the world. The beaches have been selected by internationally recognized island travel authorities (and more than a few magazines!) as ranking among the top 10 in the world! Relax in your own self-contained comfortable cottage located right on the ocean. Reefs, located a few meters from the beach and offer young children and ideal introduction to snorkeling and marine life. Explore the tiny island by golf cart, as there are few if any cars!    Take a boat and explore the many deserted islands. Hire a fishing guide or take a snorkel excursion to swim with stingrays.

Itinerary Highlights

Your family adventure begins with a small flight from Fort Lauderdale to Treasure Cay.Sip a Rum Punch on a short ferry ride to a tiny off shore Cay where you are picked up by 4 x 4   and transferred to your ocean side cottage. Relax, unwind and take a swim!

The cottage is situated on a narrow part of the cay where 200 meters separate the Atlantic Ocean and a quiet Bay the result is that you have two beaches right at your doorstep. Choose the calm protected waters of the bay with its picturesque sunsets or expansive ocean side beach with its inner reef less than 30 metres off shore!

Observe needlefish, lobsters, and angelfish, parrot fish and stingrays – meters from your chair on the beach.

Balmy breezes and air conditioning cool the 2-bedroom cottage. With two bedrooms, fully equipped housekeeping units have impressive views of both the ocean and the bay.

Drive a golf cart the 3km to town on a beach side rd. Purchase food at one of 3 well-stocked stores or sample local cuisine (conch salad is the island specialty) at several native restaurants.

Discover the riches of coral life- both culinary and visionary- at your doorstep. Fishing, diving and picnic trips with local guides can be arranged daily. Bone fishing is superb in the Abacas!

Join your kids on a walk at low tide.  Search for sea urchins, sand dollars, and starfish or take a flashlight out at night and search for crabs.

Touch stingrays on a picnic to an outer island.

Enjoy the tropical night sky. The weather is not too far from perfect- every day!
